Microsoft had introduced Paint app in 1985. The software has been in existence for over 32 years now. Actually, Microsoft has released a list of features that are either being removed or deprecated in the Windows 10 Fall creator update. Microsoft on its blog said, “The following features and functionalities in the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update are either removed from the product in the current release (“Removed”) or are not in active development and might be removed in future releases (“Deprecated”). This list is intended to help customers consider these removals and deprecations for their own planning. The list is subject to change and may not include every deprecated feature or functionality.” Let me tell you that MS Paint app will be deprecated and it will be available in the Windows Store. But, the functionality will be integrated into Paint 3D. Paint 3D is the advanced version of MS Paint, which let users create third-dimensional images. MS Paint is not the only thing that has been deprecated, other features like Windows PowerShell 2.0, TPM remote Management, Sync Your Settings, System Image Backup and IIS Digest Authentication have also been deprecated. The remove features include Reader App, Screen Save Functionality in themes, Outlook Express, TPM owner Password management and 3D Builder app. For the complete list of removed and deprecated features, visit this link.
