Well, we must admit that Apple has changed its strategy and tried something new with the iPhone X. It maintains the similar traditional iPhone size but with a larger screen. The front of iPhone X is completely occupied by the screen and has no buttons. The pre-orders for iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus went live in the US on Friday. Recently, KGI security analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who sent out an investor note, stated that the anticipation for the upcoming iPhone X is cannibalizing iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus Pre-orders. According to Ming-Chi Kuo “While it takes three to six weeks or more to ship new iPhone models after they are available for preorder, they see the iPhone 8 taking less than one to two weeks. This is due to the iPhone X cannibalisation” As for the Apple Watch Series 3, Ming-Chi Kuo believes that the demand for Apple Watch Series 3, saw much higher demand than earlier anticipated. Kuo Predicted “We estimate the preorder weighting of the GPS + Cellular version is 80-90 percent. While not available in all countries, most users have pre-ordered the GPS + Cellular version because it offers phone and internet access functions without an iPhone and given the low premium of $70 (roughly Rs. 4,500) over the GPS version,” Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, starting at Rs 64,000, will be launched on September 29 in India while the pre-bookings starts on September 22. The iPhone X will arrive India on November 3, starting at Rs 89,000. So, what do you think about this? Share your views in the comment box below.
