As we all know, Twitter was the first to start a paid verification service last year after Elon Musk became chief executive of the company, but now Meta has decided to launch the same service for Facebook and Instagram users.
Facebook & Instagram Users Can Now Have Verification Tick by Paying $15 Monthly
On Meta’s primary platforms, such as Instagram and Facebook, a verified account with a blue tick is finite because it has a strict verification method and requirements, but soon it will be monetary. With its announcement, Mark also revealed the pricing of the service, and it’s different for mobile and desktop users. For web users, it will cost $11.99 per month and $14.99 for iOS and Android users. Besides, after buying this subscription users will also get some of the additional features, such as more visibility and reach on the platform and exclusive stickers for the stories and reels.
